Generation Comparison: 1971 Celica VS. 2005 Celica
Most people now-a-days would not even be able to believe that these are both Celicas. With such a generation gap, the only thing that they have in common now is that they are both Toyotas and share the Celica badge. The first generation celica was released to be the "cheaper" alternative to the incredible Toyota 2000gt. The seventh generation celica was released to bring younger buyers out in the United States. I believe the best comparison you can derive from these two long distance ancestors, would be that the 1st gen is RWD while the latter, FWD...
Any Competition here? 1st generation Celica FTW!!!

1975 Toyota Celica build...

This is me and my brother's project...
A 1975 Toyota Celica. (Ra22)
The car had a completely immaculate interior besides the small cracks on the top of the rear seats and small cracks on the dash. besides that, perfect headliner, perfect side panels, perfect seats, carpet, and dash console.
The Car was originally Green, as seen in these photos
It also had the Vinyl top and side moldings which were removed.
We lowered the car with TRD springs in the rear, and rear eibach SW20(mr2) lowering springs in the front with koni adjustables.
This is basically how the car sits now
The Celica originally came equipped with the 20r.
This is the engine we have decided to swap for the 20r.
The engine looked and was like crap, but we got it for steal. everything was pretty bad except the intake manifold, and turbo manifold. so $300 bucks was worth it..
This is what the engine looks like now
Rebuilt block, rebuilt head. New Gaskets and seals from Toyota.
stay posted for more to come....
Differences between East and West....
Haven't posted anything in a while now, but lets look at this.
East and West can mean a lot of things. In this case we can look at the differences between two cultures. Though not all instances may be true, but for some odd reason, some examples are true.
Opinions

Some could say that in some cases, this illustration could be vise versa
Way of Life

The blue side concentrates more on the individual aspect, while red touches on community
Punctuality

From the picture you can see that this talks about filipinos
Waiting Lines

kinda true huh...
Restaurants

we all know this is true.
Tourists

see this at San Francisco all the time
Trends

How they perceive each other

This one is my favorite.
